ANALYSIS / GUIDE04 POINTS

Verify the news first

Distinguish confirmed announcements from speculation. Check when the move takes effect and whether the player remains usable in your league’s competition. Your ability to replace them depends on the league settings and market window.

02 / 04

Update three parts of the assessment

Eligibility: can the player still fill the intended role under your format?

Reliability: do you have enough information about the new club context? If not, state the uncertainty rather than recording an automatic improvement.

Cover: whom can you start if the new situation does not immediately produce the playing time you expect?

Worked case

Fictional example: M changes club and was your first midfield replacement. You do not yet know whether M will have a stable role. Review reliability and your second replacement rather than automatically selling M or promoting M to the starting lineup.

If someone offers a trade involving M, assess the final squad in the evaluator. Keep confirmed news separate from predictions about its effects.
